QiGong is similar to yoga in that the movements are simple, but different from yoga in that it's a much deeper, tranquil practice.
Moving Meditation is more of a meditation class than a movement class, with the intention to access and cultivate deeper states of calm within.
Yes, please join us! Our QiGong and Moving Meditation classes are intentionally designed to welcome all-levels with options for everyone.
Participants must be 15 years of age or older, and students under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Our QiGong and Moving Meditaition class sequences, postures, and intentions are tailored for ages 15+.
As always in Summit County, layers are your best option. Some classes may be quite warm, others a bit cool depending on the weather.
Moving Meditation and Journey Into Oneself classes will be held indoors, but likely with the door and windows propped open to feel the cool breeze.
For cooler weather and evening classes, we suggest layering up - you may even want a puffy, hat and socks for our still poses. For morning classes you will often be comfortable in a sleeveless top but we still recommend bringing a long sleeve shirt or sweatshirt, sunglasses, water, and of course be sure to use sunscreen!

This location has cool soft grass just yards away from Lake Dillon. Parking available on Lodgepole Street.
Restrooms – NEW this year, there is a public restroom near the parking area. There are also restrooms at the Dillon Amphitheater, about a 5 minute walk away.
No. I don't expect anyone to have any meditation experience prior to doing this program. If you have experience, great but it's not necessary. What we will be doing in SMP is NOT meditation actually- it's inner training. We will literally be retraining your mind, body and nervous system on how to think, feel and operate in a way that will align you with the best version of yourself - physically, mentally, and emotionally.
